1st time Sea Doo owner here. Purchased a 94 xp 657 x and a 95 with the 580 motor. Have a few questions so thanks for your patience in advance. The motors have been rebuilt and are marked 1.00 mm. I'm assuming that means bore is 1mm over 78mm factory bore. That was 1st question. The cylinders are very smooth and so are the jug's. The jug's have a little discoloration of rust. My next question, what to use to clean them up. I Will attach pics at end of post. Another concern I have is the cylinder rings. They Seam loose with some play. I'll get a close up pick. The crank shaft is my biggest concern. The seals by Pto and magneto look sketchy. The inner seals on the crank look like they might have some failing areas. The parts of seals that seat in the slots of the bottom of crank case seam to look good and seam to be intact. My concern with inner seals is on the sides where they press up against metal or I'm guessing bearing housing. I'm going to attach pics of rings, cylinder jugs and pics of crank shaft and case. Don't want to put it back together if seals will hemorage oil in to cylinders. Removing that flywheel was Hell. Guessing y'all are aware. Again thanks for any help. It's much appreciated.
