Need help with 95 xp popping 5 amp fuse! help thanks

was riding on the water and ski went dead no power got it home pulled out the brain box and it had popped the 5 amp fuse replaced it it started right up put everything back together and tried starting it again just to make sure it was ok after putting seat and evrything back and wouldnt start. pulled it back apart and it had poped the fuse again. i just bought this about 2 weeks ago and took it out last week for a good 6 hours with no problems, i was only on the water this time for maby an hour till it died. any information or help is greatly appretiated! thanks Steve

The diode in the MPEM has gone bad. It's normally caused by jump starting the ski.

There is a thread int he how to section on how to change it.
