I have (2) 97 XP's and they have been at the mechanics for over a year! The shop owner sold out and the new owner will not touch my machines. One bike has the motor and all of the electrical componenets removed from it. The other is missing small parts and the CDI I think. Where can I go to find these replacement parts cheaper than new and quick. I also have an 951 motor that may work if I can rig up the exahust.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

How do you spell LAWYER?

When the new owner purchased the shop, as long as the sale was a legal binding sale, he assumed responsibility for your skis........

I would think very hard about seeing a lawyer, if for nothing more than to make sure you ski comes home with everything you took it to the shop for. Don't be railroaded by some jerk who thinks he can tell you what he's going to do.........

I do know for a fact, that when a business is purchased, the new owner must accept responsibility for the work that is in the shop.........

Lawyer consultation fees are normally about $50 bucks.........If it were me, I'd be looking into this........

If the old owner kept or re-used your MPEM (cdi) in another ski, your looking at a price anywhere from $500 to $700 bucks..........don't get screwed by this guy!.................

Oh.......BTW, you can't put the 951 in those XP's........

I appreciate the information. Unfortunatley the buisness has already closed the doors and the original owner skipped town to avoid bodily injury, and not just by me! I guess I can sell this 951 and purchase a new 787 for the bike provided I can round up all the exahust parts and the ignition module. Fortunatley the CDI module was in the rear of the boat. Thanks for the advice though.
