Need Help Water in the bilge

Hi,
I have a 2000 sea doo 1800 challenger, I went out for some tubing, and when we came back in we had about 7 inchs of water in the bilge, it sounded like the pump was running but nothing was happening, what could cause this and what should I look for to fix it. I used the manual drains plugs to empty out the bilge, but I need to have this fixed. Any ideas I'm new to this thanks!

check screen that pump sits in it might plugged

Check the screen and nothing blocking it, I took the hose line out to see if something got in that but it looked good. I put the bilge pump in a bucket of water and ran it, it turns on and sounds as if it's running but nothing happens any ideas?

A new bilge pump right? Does anyone know where I can get a good deal on one?

Walmart sells a universal one that I have in my boat

Is the one in walmart nice, do you have to change much like fuses or anything?

It works fine, it was in there when I bought the boat.
