Need help!! Taking on water

1995 Sea Doo Bombardier Rotax 700cc. Any problems with hose on main shaft coming off and filling jet ski up with water? The hose will not stay on and the only thing that holds it on is a hose clamp that will not stay tight because the only thing to clamp onto is beveled and it wont stay

is it plastic or some kind of metal, if metal, flare it out.

it is fiberglass and tapered so everytime you tighten the clamp the hose slides back off

no, it rides against the steel collar
