Need help rebuilding 98 XPL

Hey guys I have a 98 XPL with 951 that froze up on me two or three years ago after winterizing it the year before and I pulled the motor out of the hull. And I bought a boat, so lost interest for a while. Last year I finally unfroze the PTO cyl with lots of mystery oil and a mallet. I think that some moisture was left in the motor or I locked up the rings on one cyl running it out of gas. (duh I didn't think about one carb emptying before the other)

I could rebuild the top end, but I remember hearing problems with this motor and water in the pipe so i'm wondering what else is damaged. What are my options? Any good reman places out there now? It's been so long since I worked on it now I have to look at microfishes for a while to be sure i put everything back haha

hey rumble...for the time, it sounds you wanna put on this ski, think you should pull the jugs and have honed, to make sure, that the sleeves aint cracked from the mallot...
