I am an old grandfather who bought a 95XP 787(in what was thought to be meticulous condition) for the grandkids. After approx 2 hrs the motor locked up. The previous owner used different oil to save money just before he sold it to me. Had new enjine installed. Don't want to pay $60 for a gal of SeeDoo oil. Have read just about all the threads on oil. Decided to go with QuickSilver PWC. Just don't know whether to use 100% synthetic or the blend. Hopefully I won't open up a can of worms if I ask which would some of you use. Thanks for any advice. I just want to make the grandkids happy and get this thing going before summer is over. Thanks again.

So is this a new motor? If it is it doesn't make a lot of difference, the synthetic blend is easier to find.

If its not a new motor, you will need to drain the oil tank, change the filter, and ideally bleed the lines, if you don't know what oil the previous owner used you should go with the full synthetic.

When you get the ski running go for a ride yourself, you'll love it, of course now the grandkids will have to share the ski with Gramps.
