Went out on the boat today and as I was anchoring at the beach the boat all of a sudden started going in reverse...turns out the reverse assembly dropped down and there is no action at all when moving the forward/reverse lever, therefore I'm assuming the cable broke??? I was able to tie the bucket up with a rope and drive back to the dock. Any advice, suggestions or tricks to replacing the cable?? Any help would be much appreciated.

I just had my reverse cable replaced on my 2005 Seadoo GTX just a few weeks ago. I was going to do it myself, but there were some tight areas I would have had to get to. I Paid $107.00 for the cable and a jet ski shop provided the labor for $75.00. The Seadoo dealer wanted $150 just for labor. It was a good service experience.
