Sorry ahead of time for the length

on the aft exhaust pipe , there is a rave valve on top that has a red screw cap with a flip spring over the black cap. Water looks like it leaks out of this valve, Is it as simple as taking off the hoses and unscrewing the assembly from the exhaust pipe ? Noticed it leaking at the river but when a got home and ran in drive way it didnt appear to be leaking anymore. All I did was pop the spring and look in there to see if it the cap wasnt seating properly, but feel that maybe it has to do with something else as to why it doesnt leak in the driveway. Please tell me what I need to look at.

hey....those raves, shouldn't leak. I'd take them apart and clean them out, maybe need new gasket kit for them...good luck

So do you just unhook the hoses and unscrew from the exhaust?

does the unit just unscrew from the muffler?

Thanks since this is all new I wasnt sure what you call it

So you just unscrew it from the muffler? and disassemble it to look for ?? I have the manual but wasnt sure what to look for

See if you can tell where its leaking first.
If its right at the threads all you have to do is disconnect the little hoses (remembering where they go) then unscrew it. then use threadsealer on the threads and put it back in.
If its not leaking from the threads pull that spring clip on top down and remove the cap and spring. if its wet in there chances are your boot is torn. Hope this helps.

Thank you it does appear that the water

is coming from the threaded are where it hooks up. Should there be water in the cap area normally, I did flip the spring down and remove the cap to find water in there, as well. Also when you say the boot is torn is this part of this assembly?
