Need expert advice before buying new carbs.

I see SBN 40i-38 carbs on the internet that I can buy for around $200. However the high speed jet size does not match the manufacturers spec for my 98 speedster. It looks like the jets are one size too small. Can I use these? I can't find the OEM carbs for less than $500 each.

Just change the jets. It's not that big of a deal, and they are only a few $$$ each. OR... take them out of your old carbs.

OK, sounds like a plan. Thanks. Do you know of any other differences in the carbs. They look the same. 40i-38-29 is the original model and 40i-38-26 is the model readily available.
