Need advice

I bought a 1997 challenger 1800 as a parts boat because the police officer that I bought it from could not get a title on it. I pulled both motors and pumps for back ups on my 98 challenger 1800. My question is will the mpem off the 97 work on my 98. There are lots of electronic on the 97 that will not work on my 98 so I'm getting ready to sell the 97. Just wondering of I need to pull the mpem before I get ready to sell it. Thanks for your advice.

Yes... it will work... but it's not a "Plug in" unit. But... since they are SO expensive... and hard to find... Personally... I would take it out, and cut the plugs, leaving about 6" of wire. Then... if you ever need it... you can wire it in.
