I have had a 2016 RXT 300 since new. I have had mystery IBR problems 2 of the 4 summers. Both times the circumstances were similar. Ski running fine, idled a little bit in deeps (~30') talking to other rider, throttle up to move and after a couple second get a shrill whistle and IBR light blinking. The first time 2 years ago the ski was a little new so I looked for obvious things and then took it in. Shop said IBR was off track and fixed under warranty. This time I know a bit more so I have inspected and tried a bunch of things. At first I was manually able to articulate the bucket a couple times. Now nothing. No debris in the bucket or cavity that I can see. Rollers are in tracks and they spin freely. Nothing bent that I can see and no missing bolts. Changed to a new battery which didn't help. Checked and swapped fuses which didn't help. I simply can't see any problems. Ski starts with no alarm and will idle without alarming but goes off after a few seconds of throttle. IBR Override mode enters and gauges show IBR movement but bucket doesn't budge any more. Is there anything I am missing? Shop can't take it until mid July so it is very frustrating to be off the lake for 6 weeks for the second time in 4 years.
