I have 95 speedster. One engine went bad on me so I bought a complete used 657x in good shape. Getting ready to install this motor but I noticed the stator plug is different for this new motor. My old motor had a gray plug from the stator with 4 wires. the new motor had no plug just male to female connectors and has an extra white wire. My old stator is completely toast so is there anyway I can use this other one somehow by perhaps splicing the gray connectors on to its wiring? But then I have the white wire left over? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Just to add, I have both the 4 wire flywheel and the 5 wire flywheel. If I can just figure out whether or not the fifth white wire can be bypassed I'd be in business I think. After researching I'm more confused than ever.
