Just bought a 1999 Seadoo Sportster 1800. Just discovered that the nav lights are not working. Fuse is good, bulbs are good, but when I put a multimeter to the wires there is no power getting to the lights. Whatever the issue is it is also affecting the stern light. Any idea what I might check next? Next stop is the shop if I can not figure it out on my own. Thanks!

Love this forum by the way. I'm a new Seadoo owner and the discussions are so very helpful. Thanks.

Make sure you have power coming into the switch, then test each leg of the circuit of the switched side if it's getting voltage. Not likely all four legs of that demand side of the switch are dead it's probably the switch or between there and the fuse.

Test light is usually a little quicker for running down an issue like this if you have one handy.

+1 on the test light. Check your fuse 'legs' for corrosion also. Make sure you are getting power to both sides with the fuse installed. You will see a little patch of metal on the top of the fuse, you should see 12v on each leg.
