my sportster wont Rev passed 4k ??? Help!

hey my 2003 seadoo sportster 4-tec wont rev passed 4k rpm
it starts fine everything works but its like the engine is limiting it and it wont take off

is there a few things i can do to trouble shoot?

could it have to do with a fluid level or fuse to protect the engine???

Ahh! So you did post here also.

You need to post it's recent history, when was it last rev'ing over 4K rpm's, how many hours are on it, is it supercharged or not, and are there any diagnostic codes or alarms going off. People need a little more info than it just doesn't rev over 4K rpm's.

Are you sure you aren't using a learner's lanyard (which would rev limit it)?

the boat is a 2003 non supercharged 4tec.....i believe a 155hp....has 75hrs on it appox....normal beeping with key in and starts fine
last week it reved over 4k....almost like it is in limp mode...and the gauges radio havent worked for some time. ....prolly fuses???? idk
