 so my ski pylon wont move...its stuck in a middle position, i hit it with a heavy mallet and it moved down barely, if i pound on it i can get it back into down position, but then have to pound on bottom to get it back up...any advice? should i just try to lube it up?

How do they normally expand or collapse?

I have seen many where you need to twist them first.

im not sure i was told you just pull up on them and push them down. it wont twist at all either...its like its jammed in there. not frozen, just way too tight, like wrong size guides almost, but its all the original stuff.

If it's not all corroded, more than likely it has a slight bend in it. Someone a tad portly was being pulled out of the water and tweaked it. I tweaked mine (barely) a few years back, like 15 or 20 pounds back, coming out on a slalom ski. Yes they just pull up and pop down. Perhaps Minnetonka4me has one or his bro.

I had the same problem with my 97 Challenger I owned. It is probably bent. You should remove the ski post entirely. Then, you need to hammer it completely out. Once it is out you need to get it unbent, then you can lube and re-assemble.

and how the heck do you change the interior lights, the 2 rear ones on mine are burned out.

The covers just pop off.

BUT... before jumping to conclusions... the rear deck lights are the "Boarding lights". So, it's a different switch.
