The boat does not seem to have any power, with three people i can get it to plane out but it takes forever. At high RPMs when i am trying to pick up speed the boat cuts out but doesent die it just sounds like it is hitting of a rev limiter. Thuse keeps it from picking up speed, and no power. I can get the boat to plane out by pulling back on the gas to about 6000 RPMs and when it is planes out it runs smooth, but will only go 30 miles an hour. The boat starts fine and runs good. Just no power or should i say not the power it should have. I need help please anyone

You have an impeller or wear ring problem. You need to check your pump. Also what engine does your boat have ??? It makes a big difference in how to repair it. Add all your boat information to your avatar.

Will do i just became a member like 5 min ago, My rings, and impeller are located Where and how do i know if it is bad or not. Sorry this is my first jet boat i am a newbe.

Better, but you still don't say what engine you have ??? After looking at the parts link, I'm assuming that you have the Mercury V6. If you you do download the M-2 manual in the manual section and it will walk you through it.

In order to check it put the shifter in forward (engine not running), and looking in the pump from the back have a good look at the clearance around the impeller with a flashlight. It should be no more that .1 of an inch, or 2.54mm. Also look for rocks, sticks any other foreign objects, and make sure there are no gouges in the impeller or wear housing.
