hello there my very knowledgeable seadoo friends....i just bought a 2007 seadoo 150 speedster and took it out on the lake yesterday and everything was super fine...but then i sucked up a rope and it got tangled around the impeller shaft....so anyways i was able to get the boat out of the water and brought it home where i worked on it....i got all of the rope off the shaft accept for about a foot or so because it is in the end of the shaft that goes into the hull to the motor side....i removed all the rope without having to cut or pry on anything. I also did not take any thing loose or remove anything to do this...i just laid down under the boat and trailer. when i sucked the rope up and realized it i hit the kill switch immediatley to keep from tearing up alot of other stuff...the wear ring and propulsion is fine, no damage there...but do u have any suggestions on how i can get the rest of that rope out without taking it to the SeaDoo dealer...that little bit of rope is stuck deep inside looks like... It is around the shaft and stuck between the fiberglass body hull or tunnel that the propeller shaft runs thru to the interior to the motor....not sure on how to get that out easily without taking it to the shop...which is what i dont want to really do....thanks and any info would be a great help or if you have some usefull links send them my way, as im still searching for a resolution to this problem....THANK YOU!!!
