I opened up a 1996 SPI an replaced a diode but no experience with this one. I may give it a shot on my new to me speedster that has an issue.
What makes you think it is the MPEM?
I don’t really know what the source is but some people direct it to the computer which I’m really hoping it’s not
These computers to open the map looks like a bit of a major because the back is solid I am going to try and clean all the terminals including the fuse holders in the computer.
I seem to be getting a intermittent connection putting the DESS onto the post sometimes I get to beeps other times I get nothing I have tested the post and received a result of 00.4 ohms I do wonder if it is a bad earth trying to go through all the wires, The boat and wiring and engine bay is very tidy including the computer it looks fairly new but does have a bit of corrosion on the terminals however some of it is grease which I’m going to remove because I don’t know if it is the right grease somebody has used then tried again
If you did open up a Sea-Doo speedster 787 computer I would love to see a photo of the inside and also how are you are going to approach it
