mpem question

hey guys
a buddy of mine passed away and left me his 99 seadoo xp limited. nice machine but has been sitting up for 2 years, before he passed away it quit running on him so he took it to the service shop and they told him the mpem was bad. i am looking for a new mpem but the part
# doesnt match what everyone else is saying the part # on this one is 278001362 and the dealer is saying it should be 278001499 any help is greatly appreciated

New vs. old

seadoo might have made the number in the ski obsolete they resign a new number i would use the new number and enter it in ebay and you can also use the old number and try that too.
