Motor seized identify metal chunks

IMG_7132.JPGIMG_7129.JPGOk 98 speedster twin 787 had it out quite a bit the last few weeks was running great and last trip out i was coming into drive it on the traker and a curent pushed my back im into the shore while engine was running and was a muddy bottom so soon the back end go over foot of water it before i got a chance too shut engines dowm it imediateltly sucked up mud amd samd and couod hear the little rocks rattling through the intake so i shut down second i realized and i pushed it off and got back out in water and started it up and drove it to get it on trailor so all was good after that so next day i decided too take it out and i have done my pre imspection before hooking it too truck showed everytiing as normal and port engine fired fine But went start SB engine and got a "clank " and the sound of electrical power Drawing bad . So pulled plugs and tried turn over by hand and still was the same " MOVE ABOUT HALF TURN AND THAN CLANK BACK AND FORTH) . Also heard few sounds of sounded like rocks or metal bouncing around in engine top end . So i stopped everything right away and knew i had serious problem so i started working imvestigating from the pump impeller and moving up too the bigger stuff . So after reslizing pump wasnt seized after pulling it i knew i was in trouble so i just started taring into the top of the engine and pulled valve cover off . Was knicked up pretty bad at the front cylinder and quite bit of sand in it Than looked down at pistons and cylimder walls looked perfect and pistons wernt looking busted up . But than i noticed a piece of metal chunk sitting on the piston about 1.5 cm long and 1cm thick . So i knew i had dig deeper so i took off head and exposed full pistons and everything and soon i took heads off there were few more chunks just ike this one sitting in the spaces where water was . But pistons look not broken . So badically im curious as to whst these metal chunks nay be off of as im gona pull engine and get nother one but i aint digging anymore into the crank part . I also noticed plugs were covered in water when i pulled them and that front plug the electrode had no gap it just bent in too point no gap . So any advice on whst it may be from the bottom of engine be great
