Well after riding it like I stole it for a full year I noticed one motor shaking a little more than the other one .... low and behold the nuts on the motor pegs are loose ... one is actually missing. I have tried everything to try an tighten these nuts myself while on holidays ...drop wrenches , ratchets ... nothing works. I can get my fingers on the bolts and nothing else.
Local seadoo repair shop says they need to pull motor out to fix. Is this the only way ???? Would love a quick fix to ride for last week of holidays .
Let me know ...thank God I still have the fishing boat and jetski ... but God I miss the speedster fun !!!!

Thanks in advance for any tips !!!!

I have a 1996 Speedster and noticed the same thing after I bought it, took it to the dealer and they said the same thing....had to pull both motors...7 of 8 were broken.

Just an update local seadoo shop lifted the motors and ended up replacing most of the pegs and I should be good for another 20 years now ...lol . Had them put in stainless impellers and new wear rings while they were at it .. they put in new impellers but said the wear rings were mint still soooo(they also gave me my old impellers back ....they were also in mint shape shows me the light use on this 20 year old boat ).... took it out for four last weekends before winterizing her and putting her away .... what a difference in hook up with the different pitch. Love it !!!!
