Can someone recommend a quality mooring whip and also can you use these with your boat horizontal to the tide/waves? my dock runs horizontal to the shore so my boat wouldn't be facing forward, towards the waves.
I like the idea of mooring whips, FWIW. I'm not sure if they would work in your case but anything's better than having your boat bouncing off the dock. Stout ones will probably be the ticket, IMO.
