Hey guys. I have a challenger 2000 with the v6 mercruiser engine. What i am looking for an answer to is i have a house we are looking to get with its own pontoon/jetty. Am i able to leave the boat in the water full time taking it out every 2 months for clean and service? Is thete a way to flush the boat while it is still in the water? It would be in salt water at the back of our house. Im in Australia

good question , i live in Florida and on my second challenger with the V6 ,as you i am planning on leaving it in the water full time . Last boat i sprayed down the metal parts with a cooper head gasket coating . seemed to slow down the barnacles . Still looking for the better suggestions

yes you can flush the boat while in the water, personally I dont like leaving the boat in the water 24/7 it creates a line on the hull but other then that fresh water I don't think would cause a prob as long as you where strict on changing the oil and inspecting the lower unit. As for salt water the lower unit had 2 sacrificing anoids on it if you leave it in the water make sure to inspect those and replace them as needed.
