hey guys, i've gotten a cover from Poppy and it fits great. I store the boat outside and just wondered what you all do to prevent mold or mildew in the boat or under the cover? The boat has a tower so there's some slits in the cover, to go around the base of the tower, and that's where moisture can get in. Should i just shove some towels in there around the slits and hope that works? I really don't want to have to take the cover off everytime and wipe it down.

If you got a mooring cover (unless thats what you mean by from Poppy) or came up with another way of sealing things up better you might consider something like this:

It is rechargable and they work great but I have never tried it in a boat. There is a lot of open area and one unit would not be enough. It would have to be sealed up well or else it would be a total waste. Just an idea, might work might not but I believe the key is to reduce the moisture in the boat therefore reducing the chance of mold, etc. Also, a wipe down of the surface with a bleach solution would help to. During storage I always take all of the cushions out, bascially everything except the drivers seat and passenger seat of the same style, I cover those with garbage bags. Do you remove all that stuff or leave it in? Anything else you do that might be relevant to this? Do you store it under a carport, etc or is it out in the open exposed to the sun?
