In the last few weeks, there have been a couple forum members looking to do mods to their pwc's and/or boats.
The input is low, but if anyone has done any modifications to your Doo's, could you please let us know what you did and how well it worked out for you.
I think in one mod, someone wants to remove the 787 and install a bigger motor, like the 900 series Rotax in a Challenger boat.
How about contribute anything you've either done, seen, or heard of in this thread for those wanting to mod.
Thanks.....

Modifying Opinion

Hi ,

Attempting to adapt a 951 into any vessel that originally had a 787 would be insane. Besides, there's only about 25 HP difference between the two engines. It would only make sense to keep the 787 and modify it. I'm no expert on modifying engines but I'm sure there is got to be a performance kit on the market that gets a stock 787 at least another 30 horses and still keeping reliability (within reason). Anybody know of any reliable performance kits out there?

Thanks, DAWG

try the company factory pipe for aftermarket exhaust, then new jets in carbs, and new rotary valve-that should get you the difference
