Hi I needs some help
On vacation with the kids and cylinder 1 won't fire up
Seadoo Utopia 185 2004 Mercury optimax 200hp dfi

-Problem starting the engine
Spark plug one is clean as new from gazoline
It's not speaking.
Spark plug 1 is good and tested

All spark plugs good and tested

Problem seem to come from cable or deeper.

What's recommended for cleaning connector ?
No corrosion apparent.

Added oil directly to gaz to improve lubrication
Running of 5 cylinder so no more tubbing or wake boarding the kids are mad!!!

Any suggestion, or ideas would be very welcome.

On an Opti engine... if you lose spark on only one cyl... then either the coil has gone bad, or there's a loose wire somewhere between the ECU and the coil.

I would first swap coils wit another coil on the engine. If the dead spark follows the coil... then it's bad. If it stays on the same sparkplug... then there's a bad wire somewhere.

I know you said the plug was clean... but did you actually check for spark?
