I have a 1992 GTX that now has a yellow '88-'89 587 engine in it. I had it out for its first drive of the season after being winterized and noticed that the oil tank is milky from water contamination.
I converted the motor over to pre-mix and am still using the oil tank reservoir to lube the rotary valve. I am just wondering how the oil could have gotten contaminated? I plan to siphon out all of the remaining oil and refill, but the question remains do I have some sort of internal leak? or perhaps an external leak.
