I have a Challenger 2000 with a Mercury M2 240 HP, since there is no way to see if water is coming out from the pee hole in a jet boat and to avoid having it blocked and engine overheat, just add this product which is less than 5 US$ and an indicator lamp to know if water is coming out of the pee hole or not.

Good idea, but..............
You still need to cover or plug the pee hole so bugs don't build in it. Bugs can block flow 100%. That can still cost you a piston meltdown. Remove cover/plug as part of pre-launch.

You are right, but since this a water flow sensor it will indicate if water flow drops under certain amount. Think it is 1.5-8 L/min
