I ordered the Seadoo SHOP Manual for my 2000 Seadoo Challenger 1800 (part# 219 100 107) from ebay, it arrived last night. What I find interesting is that even the SHOP manual references this M2 Operators Manual. But that manual seems very difficult to find... does anyone have one in a PDF that I could get a copy of.... or knows were to get a photo-copy of a printed one?

Thanks in advance,
Brent.

Persistence always pays off, found an M2 Service Manual on ebay just now! Still looking for an Operators Manual... maybe that is covered off in the Service manual (420 pages)? Maybe somebody can chime in on that?

I thought I read somewhere that Mercury asked this forum to remove those manuals from their library? If not, then I will sign up.

The M2 Operator's Guide is not included in the M2 Service Manual. You can still purchase the M2 Operator's Guides, they run about $25-30 to the house. The M2 Shop Manual is FAR more useful than the Sea Doo shop manual for these boats...

So do you mean that you can still purchase the M2 Operators Guide directly from Mercury Marine? Scanned their website, didn't see it?

Yes. I had a hell of a time trying to find it on the Mercury Marine site and could never find it, but was able to find it elsewhere...I have the same motor in my boat and the part number for the Operator's Guide is P/N 10217020.

crowleymarine.com has it for $24.26 and boats.net has it for $25.46...I'm sure other places can still get it as well...those were a couple that I had found...never ordered it though...

Is $80 a good price for the service M2 service manual? Thats what Boats.net is listing as the price for it. Crowley says the service manual is no longer available.

$80 is in the right range for a brand new one. I've seen them for as low $69. That's the 420 page Service Manual. I was originally asking about the Mercury M2 Operators manual... which is what I purchased from Crowley.

Thanks for the info. I was just curious to see how much I should expect to pay for the service manual. The operators manual was exactly what murph said it would be... $25... Guess I'll pick them both up from boats.net

Yes, you can find the Service Manual a bit cheaper used... I got mine on eBay for $49, but that is hit and miss. But I've never seen the M2 Operators Guide anywhere used yet.
