Can someone share with me how to mount this engine on a stand to tear it down for a rebuild?
If you have pictures of the mounts it would be helpful.

I just put it on a bench. They aren't that heavy. I start on the shop floor, and a roller stool, and pull all the external stuff. (Electronics, exhaust, P8021886.JPGflywheel, and EFI/carbs) at that point, it's maybe 100 lbs. Just pick it up, and set it on the bench.

Thanks for the info. On closer inspection it looks like my engine is the 210 Carb model, Does anyone know what the differences are between the 210 version and 240 version. Are the electronics and supporting accessories different?

Since you have carbs.... yes... the electronics are a lot different. You don't have a big computer, and EFI system hanging off of it to start with. But ALL the supporting electronic items are different.

As far as the physical engine... they are almost identical. There is a slight difference in the pistons, and ports.

So if I order a re-manufactured engine I need to stick to the 210 format. no option to up it to the 240 without buying a complete engine.
