Maybe the third repair will be a charm?

:(My 2001 GTX Di started out this season popping the 15a MEPM fuse. On the second visit to the local Sea-Doo dealer, the ski was returned to me with a replaced rave valve. (The first visit involved a fuse replacement and a statement of "no problem found").
Upon receipt of the ski the second time, the ski performed well. One peculiar condition was that the ski sounded different. It actually sound similiar to a "captain's call" exhaust system on a boat in the "open" position, bubbling in the water. This differerence in sound was noted from off idle to approximately 25 mph. All other aspects of the ski's operation and performance was good. The ski was only used for a small portion of one day on that return date and was put away for two weeks until today.
Today, the ski was put in the water once again and used extensively throughout the day. Thes ski ran well until it was rolled over. The operator was instructed how to upright the ski by following the rollover instruction decal which is affixed upside down on the back of the hull. As we all know, when the ski is upside down in the water, this decal becomes right-side up and tell you what rotational direction to flip the ski back over.
This direction was followed and the rider remounted and restarted the ski. The ski did restart, but it ran poorly and would not accelerate. There was also a noticeable amount of smoke coming from the rear of the ski as the operator attempted to return to shore under power. The ski made it back to shore appoximately 50 yards where it stalled. On a restart attempt, there was no double-beep and total silence.
The ski was left alone for a couple of hours. Upon return, restart was attempted. These was no double-beep, but a one-time click was heard like starter engagement was attempting to occur.
This is the saga to date. :confused:I hope not to think that water ingestion and hydostatic lock-up, with subsequent internal engine damage has occured.
The difference in the exhaust tone after the second return from the shop,
the lack of power after rollover, together with the smoke and the fact that it's a two-cycle might have something going on in the exhaust port area where the rave valve(s) live and work.
I could use some technical guidance here..I will be calling the shop back and I'd like to have my ducks in a row. If I rolled it and locked it up, it's my cross to bear...but, if this ski is going in for a third time because of diagnostic or repair errors, I'd like to be able to be able to discuss the responsibitlies of the next repair.
