I know many will say that the only way to correctly and accurately measure speed on the water is with GPS, but as far as I care, this is close enough for me.

Water was glassy, and i started to get the bounces and found that if I moved my weight around a bit, it would level out. I was able to keep full throttle for about 20 seconds, long enough to register a 58.

Also, 0-55 in about 4 or 5 seconds...

Not too shabby for a free ski!!! :hurray:

I know if it was mine I would be proud of it. sounds like a very good investment. just think if you were to sale ski tomorrow you would make a good profit how may people do you think can say that? not to many. :hurray::cheers::hurray:

So cool!....

Scott, seems like yesterday that you came in, telling us about this free ski, then about all the problems you were trying to solve. You stuck with it, asked a question here and there and now look!..........58!...impressive.:hurray:

You deserve a cold brew!........congrats

congrats!!!

Good to hear the news, and yes GPS is the only way, and it has slowed many watercraft down, EVEN MINE!!!

For a stock 1996, 50 mph would be a good speed. The speedo said 60 when the gps said 49 on mine.

fwiw
