What is the maximum speed (GPS) of a Challenger Mercury 240 EFI?

I have a Challenger 2000... with a half tank of fuel, with current, with a little chop on the water and 1 passenger, and impellor / wear ring that is in "decent shape".. I can get about 52mph....

In other words... alot of variables... but you are looking at 50-55mph. I would imagine with the right conditions you could hit 60 mph

Yep... sounds about right.

In my Islandia.... half a tank of fuel, no water in the fresh tank... and only me.... I can almost touch 50. So... the Challenger 2000 is a solid 1000 Lbs lighter... so I would think 55~57 would be right.

But as above... there are A LOT of variables. A little wear in the pump can show up as 4 to 7 mph off the top. Also... adding people, or putting the top up will scrub speed.

i get about 51 mph max with about full tank with rebuilt motor and pump with 1 small adult and myself 230lb

Those are pretty accurate numbers compared to what people are reporting. Lots of variables.

We posted a photo of the GPS in a thread about speed. I saw 52 mph on GPS with two adults in our X20. And that was reading about 55 on the speedo. 48-50 on Speedo with a full boat is about the norm in many conditions.
