From what I've seen, here's the formula for a broken neck:

High Speed + Turn + Rider Movement = ambulance/morgue.

The problem is you have 2 "drivers" for 1 vehicle. The rider controls pitch and bank. If they're high and fast, they can easily hurt themselves if they don't know what they're doing.

The driver controls the speed, and speed dictates the altitude.

If you're going to let them go high, they need to know it's about to happen so they stay as stable as possible. Instability will roll it over, and that's very bad news.

That makes cornering trickier. To stay in the turn, you have to bank with it. High speed, high altitude and you're just setting up the bad formula. Definitely keep it slow in the turns. If they've never flown one, definitely keep them on the water for turns and only fly them on a straight and keep an eye on speed and altitude.

It can be done safely, it just takes a lot of responsibility. It's not like a tube you can just sling somebody out of. The speed and altitude makes it very dangerous in a hurry.

If they had made a smart release and marketed like a sport, with a basic cert or something on it, it probably could have stayed in the market instead of just putting it on the net and letting people do whatever.

You probably also want a helmet... and a wetsuit. Coming off in the air hurts a bit. I wouldn't recommend it for kids, ever.

no, no kids just me and my brothers we're all older, we have a trick tube, so we decided to turn it up at notch, and buying the Manta Ray
