Just curious if we had any other dog lovers in here. In Oct my bestest buddy had to be put to sleep cuz he had cancer. Thats kinda why I wasnt on much the last month or so. I was busy with him and then kinda felt really bummed and not in the mood for the internet. Its amazing how much you get attached to dogs. Just curious if anyone else had dogs they felt like were family. If so, lets see em.

Very sorry for your Loss Foster!! My wife works for a Vet so she is always bringing home Animals. We now have 2 Chinese Crested.
 
Had a honey colored Pei, hence her name "Honey". A Pit Bull named Vette. Also a black Pei named Meisha.

Currently have an Am Staff named Conan. 2 brown peis Buddha and Yeti.

Sounds like a nice crew of dogs. I think once you have a pei, you will always have one. They are that kind of dog. Lets see some pics.

TY. Make that 2 peis. Buddha and Yeti. We were originally going to get a girl but our old girl Meisha was too bossy and the young girl was too timid. Couldn't separate the litter brothers so we took both.
 
Yeah I always use pei for the plural too. Kinda like Moose..lol. I think 2 is always a good idea. We really want to add a male pupp now that Zoey is all alone but it is kinda hard with a 13 month old baby stumbling around. Maybe sometime next year.
 
Sorry for your loss RFoster.

It has been almost 3 years since I put my 13 year old Black Lab/Golden retriever mix to sleep. Was aweful leading up to it cause I knew for weeks that I was going to have to do it.

I have yet to get another dog.
 
Prob going to loose my man card for this pic..but this is what my wife brings home. I will say this though, these are the smartest dogs I have ever had. They are so smart I swear they understand english....and its the only dogs when you say give me a hug they actually wrap there paws around your neck and bury there head and hug you LOL.

Sorry to hear about your loss, losing a family member is definately a hard thing to deal with...

Yah he's gettin a bit bigger. He just loves the water, i've had about 4 labs in my life and never seen one that will spend 2 hrs.+ in the lake without coming out. It's wild ... he isn't to fond of rippin around in the boat though ..

that is a hairless Chinese Crested. Believe it or not they cost about $1,200.00 each.....but we got a pair for free.

Yeah and she me why I dont take the dogs for a walk. I really like them but I refuse to be seen walking down the road with them LOL!!! I have a nice big fenced in yard for them....but they have to wear there jackets in the winter and you have to put sunscreen on them in the summer. hahahahaha!!!!
