Michigan man missing in lake runs watercraft shop

HOLLAND (AP) — A man missing since heading out to ride the waves of Lake Michigan over the weekend is a longtime water enthusiast.
The Holland Sentinel reports 33-year-old Kevin Bruins is the founder and owner of PWC Technology, a personal watercraft sales and repair business.
He took his personal watercraft onto the lake Saturday morning. He hasn’t returned.
The Rev. Jonathan Elgersma is senior pastor of Faith Church in Zeeland. He says Bruins and his wife have three young boys.
Bruins’ mother-in-law, Kathy Louis, tells The Grand Rapids Press going out on personal watercraft was her son-in-law’s passion.
Sheriff’s department teams from Allegan and Ottawa counties, the U.S. Coast Guard, Holland police and others have been searching the lakeshore and beaches for any signs of Bruins.
