"MAINT" blinking -- problem or service time

For those of you that don't know, I bought 2 Sea Doo's two weeks ago from a local guy for $5,500. They're 2000 and have less than 100 hours on them each. I bought an XP and a GTX DI. When my son fired up the GTX there was a red blinking light and the word, "MAINT" blinked across the LED.

I know that my fuel sensor must be off because it was reading a quarter tank when I knew that it was less.

Any input would be appreciated.

On that model I believe if memory serves me correct, push the mode and set buttons down for a few seconds and it will reset it if it is just a reminder. If it still flashes it needs maintenance and it might be throwing a service code.
