Hi Guys, Finishing up the rebuild on the 92XP & once I find a functioning MPEM it should be ready for its first start up.
I went throught the carbs & found one of the carbs had the main jet "stopper" broken off. Is there anyway to get this adjustment close? I know it should have a 1/4 turn stopper on it, & it doesn't. Hoping there is a way to get it close before starting it.

Any ideas?

Yes, sorry for the bad choice of words. The tab that stops it from going more that 1/4 turn is broken off. While I did disassemble the
carbs & clean them out, I didn't touch the adjustments yet. I assume the high speed adjuster is factory set & capped, but wondering if its possible to set it close to were it should be from the factory for a starting point. I haven't fired the new engine yet, but I sure don't wan't to worry about that being too lean, or rich while I am breaking it in. I don't trust where its set seeing I bought this machine with its engine in a box..... ;)

A quick lookup shows a 92 XP with a 587 should be at LOW- 1-1/4 HIGH- 0. So you wouldn't be able to lean it out as the factory setting is all the way in, backing it out will richen it up.

excellent information. I will run it in to start out, or maybe 1/8 turn out & leave it there while I break it in.

First I have to find a working MPEM for this thing.

Thanks for the help!
