Magneto flywheel

Help plz

I have a 787 motor and i am missing the magneto flywheel i am wondering if one off of a 947 will fit on my motor

Not sure but maybe this helps from the manual.
947 Engine
The magneto has a 3 phase, “Y” wound stator on
18 poles. Capacity is 180 watts.
787 RFI Engine
The magneto has a 3 phase, delta wound stator
on 18 poles. Capacity is 270 watts.

No, the magneto flywheel for the 787 is part# 290966442 and the part# for the 951 is 290966680. So, as you can see, two different part numbers mean two different parts............:cheers:

The 787 carb and 947 carb engine magneto flywheels are NOT the same. (787 has a single coil ignition and the 947 has a dual coil ignition).
The stator is the same for both engines.
