hi all. a few weeks ago when we were staying at my girlfriends grandparents cabin on mullet lake, we decided on morning to take the challenger to mackinaw island. for some of you it may be no big deal for for us it was. the straights at mackinaw can get pretty dangerous at times so you have to make sure that you plan ahead. this was the only second time being to the island aside from last winter when we rode from st.ignas to the island on snowmobiles.
the trip took about 2 1/2 hours 1 way and you have to go through a set of locks at the end of the cheboygan river. those were neat too. anyways heres some pictures i wanted to share. the ones of the bridge are kinda far away because the ferries pretty much rule the waters around there. those things are crazy!they do like 50mph and i think will drive right through you!. they put out a pretty good wake too and my girlfriend didnt want to chance being in the middle of the straights with big boat traffic.
