M2 Stator/Pump Oil

Anyone know the weight oil to use? Also roughly how much so I make sure I have enough. I'm winterizing boat and would like to do this at same time so it's fresh in spring.

I'm going to use Amsoil gear lube so do need weight if possible. I haven't got the manual I ordered yet.

I believe it is 90 weight. It would take about a quart and a half.

Si basically it's gear lube just like on a lower unit on a outdrive? 75w90

Yes. I got the Quicksilver oil at Walmart and a pump too. There were 2 kinds. One was for lower HP engines I believe. I got the other one. It is called Quicksilver High Performance Gear Lube and it's straight SAE 90. The lable indicates it's good for outboard lower units, jet pumps, Sport Jets 75hp and above & all MerCruiser sterndrives.

Ok thank you I'll go with 75W90 Amsoil Severe Gear then should work perfect.
