I have a 96 GSX. I have 2 issues i need help with. The first, the is a port on the starbird side right below the bump rail. I believe water is to shoot out while the engine is running, My plastic tube was routed under the engine and got hot and deteriated.. where does the second end of the hose connect?
2nd. While sitting overnight in the water, my hull fills with 6 to 8 inches of water? Where should I start looking for the leak?

not sure on the small hose your speaking of some photos might help, but as far as the hull filling up check the rubber boot at the drive shaft, should have a clamp on each end.

a loose sponson will let water in and the driveahft seal in the carrier bearing can leak if yours has one some gsx models had seals and others had the cabon rings, it could be leaking to.

your melted hose is the first place to look. it is still hooked up somewhere and probably is the culprit. if not, you still need to find that out before you start looking for another problem.

Skis'.........

Skis are not left in the water unattended over night. There is a carbon seal and carrier ring, that will slowly seep water. You can't do anything about that.
If you insist on leaving it in the water, then I'd recommend an automatic bilge pump be installed.
The tube your talking about should connect to the highest point in your exhaust and then, out the back to a tell tale hose.
If your talking abou the one that connects low on the tuned pipe and runs under the motor, it connects to your water regulator..........
