looking to buy a 2006 speedster need advice is it worth it

i was looking at a 2006 seadoo speedster with twin engines not supercharged. the deal is its nice boat he wants 2000. but boat haas no motors or wiring not sure what it would take to put it together or how much money not sure were to begin im sure can buy stuff of ebay any thought please chime in. if i could gt it fixed for 6-7000. plus cost of boat thats what i would have for cash thanks

So you're buying the hull and maybe a trailer for 2,000.00, even if you could do all the work yourself, I don't think there is any way you're going to replace the motors (with no cores), replace the pumps, wiring, electronics, etc, etc. for 6000 to 7000, you are probably going to have that much just in the motors. I think I would pass on this deal.

If it's a hobby you're looking for go for it....If a boat is what you want walk, make that run, away from this one. While everyone is out on the river / lake, you'll be chasing parts and spending weekends in your garage....wishing you were at the lake!
