Looking for hin number on 1989 seadoo Bombardier

I just recently got the jetski, and im having a hard time finding the hin numbe. I looked on the back of the seadoo for the plate but none to be found. If I cant find it I'm gonna get a local DNR officer to make a new hin number for the seadoo. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

If I'm remembering correctly the early DOOs did not have the black hull number tag. The number should still be on the back right side of the hull, it's "stamped" into the gel coat. Sort of an old dot matrix printing, not the easiest to see.

As long as the original motor is still in it, and the motor still has the ID tag, you can try to contact BRP. All machines are documented with the chassis and motor serial numbers, they might be able to look it up for you using the motor number.

Thanks for all the help if I cant locate the hin number on the back, then I will contact BRP and see if I can get a hin number that away.
