Hello I'm a new buyer, been researching and looking for a couple years and found a 2005 locally for 12000. It appears to be in good shape engine looked very clean but waiting to do a water test. A few questions I have are about how much to have a seadoo dealer inspect the boat on average? Also any known problems or things I should check before negotiating the price any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I just got the same boat...

hey,
I got mine from a dealership, paid 14k which is a bit high, but got a 30 day powertrain warranty and they went through the boat. It is worth it to get the boat checked out, have it hooked up to the computer and you can tell the hours, and other good stuff. They found the tachometer was not working and got me a new one asap. Then on the water i found the speedo is not working, then found the bilge pump was inop too. They got me the bilge pump asap and the speedo is inbound. when you take it out on the water, make sure the rpms go up to around 8k or so, if not over 6500, then the Supercharger is inop. any other questions let me know. good luck! rick
