Limited time, I will update post when i get back. Listed for 15k, I feel like it is probably worth less? Used about 4 hours last year. they seem to think it has around 50 hours total on it ( possibly not truthful i know )

The good
- First owner
- Appears to be in good shape
- Motors fire without issue
- All Upohlstry is in good shape
- Clean engine Bay.

The bad
- Both Tachs do not work (Common?)
- bot solenoids on the motor do not work ( one has been replaced, the other will be in a couple days )
- Deep scratch on the outside of the boat
- some gaskets peeling away on the hatches

Anyone have any thoughts?

looks like non supercharged motors, and if it has around 50 hrs that should be pretty good as the non supercharged motors are known to live a lot longer, besides the usual maintenance parts I think its pretty good boat, tachs and other bs that just go along with keeping up a boat is something you have to get used to.

Is it generally the Tachs themselves, or something else that sends the signal to the tach that is the issue with them not working? I would assume I can pick up the tachs somewhere online? Seems like it should be a pretty easy fix.

Take one out and test it...I'm not sure if they read off of ignition but easy to check tach alone that will tell you if tach is good or bad ..then you will know to dig deeper

I have the same boat and neither tach works. I just bought it a few months ago. The gauges are all made by a place called Faria instruments. You can pull them out and ship to them. They rebuild them and give you a warranty for like 50 bucks each. I plan on sending mine out over the winter. As far as the other things thats all minor stuff. That scratch is no big deal at all. Gel coat is easy to fix and take care of scratches and gouges. In decent shape these boats go for anywhere from 12 to 15 (if its really clean with low hours). That one looks pretty good. IF it runs good with no issues, i think 13-14 would be a fair price.

Thanks for the great response. Couple questions...

1. How do you fix gelcoat?
2. I have been hearing a bunch about porpoising with these boats. I would plan on using this in the lakes around MN / WI which tend to not be "glasslike". Do you experience the same thing? I have read there are some trim tabs, but i have not been able to find them anywhere. Thoughts?
3. So for 50 bucks, Faria will rebuild the gauge and send it back to you?

Thanks again

Srry im just now getting back to ya. Was on vacation last week.

1. Gel cote is very easy to repair. You can buy a repair kit. It even comesin factory matched colors. You fill in the area where it needs it, let it dry 2 hours then sand and buff....Thats the shortened version but basically what ya do.

2. Porposing is really bad at full throttle. Let off a bit and it goes away from my experience so far.

3. Yes they will make them like new and even give you a warranty. It ue to be like 30-40 but they have since raised prices. Call them or do a google search for their site with pricing.
