My 1995 sportster began beeping (not a beep..beep..beep, but one solid long continuous beep) in the middle of the night, while sitting in my driveway! It eventually stopped by itself before I could get to it. An hour or so later, it started again. The key wasn't in at the time, and when I removed the lanyard the noise continued. I disconnected the battery and went back to bed!

Connected the battery the next day after work, and the beep started again around 10pm.

I suspect this is probably an engine temp sensor issue. Any suggestions on how to diagnose????

neighbors are like,..WTF...if it wasnt running, then most likely the buzzer went south. Can find them at Radio Shack, $15buks...check the fuses under the driver comparment hatch, also...
