I have a 2010 challenger 210 se that has a limp home light on the port side engine. I have had the boat for about 5 months and it ran without issue. I had to go out of town for three weeks so the boat sat without being ran for three weeks. took the boat to the lake and the port engine wouldn't start. there was an electrical issue I fixed that today and was able to get it to start and run fine except when it fired up the check engine light came on and it said limp home mode. not sure what is going on? the low oil pressure message flashed for a second once but, couldnt get it to pop back up on several other starts ( oil pressure low message that is). Wondering if anybody else has experienced this if so what was the issue and how might I fix it? thank you

I get the low oil pressure warning at start up from time to time. Oil level is always fine. Not sure I'd worry about it too much unless it comes on after she's been up and running.

Have you confirmed your oil level is good?

yeah the oil level looks good. Does your start in limp home mode? if so after letting it run are you saying it will build pressure then turn off?

In the 5 years we've owned the boat, she's never started in limp mode.

Do you have access to a Candoo system so you can read the ECM?

Could be a bad sensor. They do go bad and are cheap to replace. If you have the repair manual, it gives you plenty of info to test the switch to see if it's faulty.
