I have them on a light bar below where the rope hooks to the tower, the factory lights on a Wake series boat. They're bright but as far as helping you see anything I've found them to be useless. If I was going to add them though I'd go with some of the LED light bars, they're a lot brighter and draw a lot less power, plus they look better in my opinion.
